Birdman

Book excerpt: Sara was thinking she might make it to the barn without being seen. The birds kept screaming, but she saw no one... Nearly at the clearing, a hand reached out and grabbed her. It was Barry Sparks. "What the hell're you doing here?" he shouted. He let go of her arm just long enough to clap his hands together and yell "Hey!" toward the greenhouse. The screeching stopped.The clapping action distracted Barry momentarily; Sara made a break for the barn. Her camera flopped on the strap around her neck. Barry was five steps away from grabbing her again. This time she wasn't giving up her camera, she was going to get her picture. Like yesterday, she had to use both hands to pull open the closest side of the big barn door... There was a horrible explosion!
